"Brad Gentile arrived at the location before I did and had already looked at the ac unit in the backyard. I explained to him I have been troubleshot the furnace for 3 days and have a 2 flash external lockout. Brad said, *Ok, let me take a look and see what is going on.* He asked me to turn on the thermostat and call for heat. I went in and did and walk back to the furnace where Brad had already removed the panel and holding down the pin. Pilot light lit and this is where I told him the furnace will click 3 times and the pilot goes out. He says, *Ok* and we both watch all the burners light up. 3 days troubleshooting had Honeywell on the phone with me for over an hour and this man lays his hands on my furnace once and gets it working with no problem. Unbelievable! He shuts it down and says lets make sure it lights up again. It does! I thank him and say, How much I owe you for coming out? He says nothing it was my pleasure. It happens he says, had the same thing happen yesterday. Something special in that mans hands. Saved me $450 in repairs I was estimating. Thank you again, Brad.... John M."

"I had a 5 star experience with APXG Heating and Air Conditioning. The owner, Jesus responded immediately to my request and kept me updated with phone and text. Jesus and his son arrived when they said they would, explained the process, and were able to replace the rubber installation around my air unit. They did a great job, they were quick, didn't leave any mess, and charged a reasonable price."

"Our AC went out on the weekend of a hot spell. Golden Air immediately responded for my query for a hvac specialist (out of 4-5 other companies, which did not respond till 1-2 days later).. Ahmed came within a few hours only to find that we had ice around the unit so he couldnâ t properly diagnose the problem till the next day after which he returned & changed out some filters, topped off our fuel tank & very thoroughly tested both outgoing & returning air temps. We didnâ t know how serious was the problem but Ahmed thoroughly explained what triggered the problem, what was & wasnâ t the cause, & what the fix was going to be. Our AC was up & running by the end of his shift."

"My HVAC unit was 20 years old needed consistent repair, and my ducks where leaking. It was time for a new unit. I also wanted to relocate the condenser to improve my back yard space. I had gotten 4 quotes before someone referred me to http://www.aircmechanical.com/ Vitor was literally the first smart person to offer a quote. He suggested relocating the condenser to a side of the house and changing it to a suitcase type unit. He also came up with the creative solution of adding a 2nt inlet in another part of the house to reduce noise and improve airflow. The other contractors wanted to enlarge and or relocate the existing inlet which would have been an ugly mess. I now have an extremely efficient 2 stage unit installed correctly and he beat the other quotes. Entire product was completed in 2 days. I couldnâ t be happier."

Get Matched With ProsWhen your furnace stops functioning properly, it can be more than a real inconvenience. It can also be a danger if the temperatures outside are extremely cold. Unfortunately, furnaces, like other household fixtures, don't break when it's convenient so it's important to find a furnace repair service near you that can be on-site quickly to start solving the problem.
In addition to being more likely to respond sooner, local services may be able spot problems quicker if they are familiar with homes in your neighborhood. And if replacement is the best course of action (like when the furnace is already 15-20 years old), they can recommend brands and models and may even be able to save you money.
